The Old Cooker

Caramel Apple Cocktail

Here's a seasonal drink that you can enjoy with your guests for get-togethers during the Halloween through Thanksgiving season, or for that matter, anytime.  It can be prepared for those who do or don't drink alcoholic beverages. Plus it's got yogurt in it so it qualifies as a health food :-)

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 ½ cups chopped red apple
  • 3 tablespoons caramel sauce
  • 6 oz. apple cider (hard or not)
  • 6 tablespoons vanilla yogurt
  • Bit of cinnamon
Blend together with crushed ice to make it frosty. The quantities shown are good for about six 6 ounce servings.

Our friends over at Margaritaville Cargo have a "cool" way to chill and pour your drinks without ice.  In fact it's called the Chillin' Pour Chiller.  It's a nice way to prepare a reasonable size batch of your favorite chilled beverage and dispense directly to a glass.  In fact it does more than chills, it super chills down to 15 degrees, which is a lot colder than ice which only chills to 32 degrees and waters down your drinks.
